| Liberty 463 Town and Country Cruiser put to the ultimate test....
America resident subscriber Stump Parish contacted GreenerMachine regarding His ownership experiences of acquiring and owning an electric scooter. We feel there is nothing to match a little first hand experience so it's over to Stump to fill you in on the rest.... GreenerMachine. Owning a Liberty 463 Town and Country Electric scooter - Stump Parish Sourcing - After a month of research I settled on the Liberty 463 Town and Country Cruiser as my primary mode of transportation. My primary reasons for trying an electric bike are, in no particular order: Economy (the advertised power cost per mile works out to around $1.50 for every 1000 miles driven), the environment (no noise or pollution at all), I also feel we have to get out from under the stranglehold the oil companies (foreign and domestic) have on our economy. Before my research into Electric bikes began, I had hoped to spend less than $800.00 on a bike. I wanted a bike that would take me to and from work, and to be used for normal shopping and local errands. The Liberty was $785.00 and I had first came across Liberty Bikes in Mother Earth News and liked the fact that one distributor was selling these bikes instead of the 30 plus extreme bike dealers who’s products varied in price as much as $200.00 for the same bikes. The warranty was longer, and finally, my experiences dealing with my salesman Kevin were not only professional but enjoyable. Read more... |

Take a look at the front suspension! This bike has dual front suspension to take the impact of those nasty potholes! This makes for a better ride, and enables a heavier person(s) to be able to have a comfortable ride.
REAR LOCKING TRUNK/TOOL KIT (OPTIONAL)
For this bike we offer a rear trunk with key lock. I tis show in the pictures. This can be ordered at our webstore when you order your bike for $25 with no extra charge for shipping when you order your ebike.
FRONT FORK LOCK (OPTIONAL)
For this bike we offer an optional front fort lock. No one can just hop on your bike and take off! This theft deterrent is nicely stored in an upright position during riding. When you park, you pull it out and stick it through the front forks to keep the bike from being able to be pushed away. So if someone does cut your chain bike lock, they cannot push the bike away |
